Introduction

Dr. Shamseddin Ahmadi teaches physiology and neuroscience courses at Department of Biological Science, University of Kurdistan since 2007 till now. He is interested in neurobiology and cognitive neuroscience and has published more than 40 ISI articles in his research fields. He frequently participates in different national and international congresses such as IBRO world congress, FENS and Basic and Clinical Neuroscience Congress (BCNC). Dr. Ahmadi in his researches focuses on cognitive aspects of neurobiology of reward related learning and memory, anxiety and pain at behavioral and molecular levels in rat and mice models of addiction, tolerance and neurodegenerative disorders.
