Introduction

HIMAN SHAHABI received his Ph.D. in Remote sensing-GIS at Department of Remote sensing, Faculty of GeoInformation, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia in 2014. He passed his PhD. with gold medalist as best postgraduate student award in 52the convocation ceremony, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He also passed Post doctorate at Remote sensing-GIS in Institute of Geoscience and Digital Earth Centre (Geo-DEC), Research Institute for Sustainability and Environment (RISE), UTM, Malaysia and Japan in 2015. He specializes in remote sensing, GIS application and soft computing techniques in natural hazard with emphasis on landslide and flood, environmental problems in urban planning. Furthermore, He selected as best student award for M.Sc course, based on Excellent Academic Achievement in Conjunction with National Elite Foundation, Iran from 2012 until yet. He is currently Associate Professor in Remote sensing; Department of Geomorphology, Faculty of Natural resources, University of Kurdistan, Sanandaj, Iran.
