چکیده Rocket (Eruca sativa L.) is a leafy vegetable with various medicinal applications. The use of organic and biofertilizers is one of the most important tools to improve the quality of different crops. The aim of this study was to study the effect of humic acid and biofertilizers as alternatives to chemical fertilizers with sustainable agriculture potential and maintaining consumer health. The experiment was conducted as a completely randomized design with three types of fertilizers including humic acid, biofertilizers (Azeto Bavaria-1, Phosphate barvar-2, Pota barvar-2), and chemical fertilizers. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the studied fertilizers in terms of most traits at the levels of 5% (P≤0.05). Applying humic acid resulted in the maximum total polyphenol, ascorbic acid, and carotenoids content. Also, the highest chlorophyll a and total chlorophyll content were observed by using Azeto barvar-1 fertilizer. In addition, the highest total flavonoid, soluble sugar, and chlorophyll b content were achieved under Azeto barvar-1 + Phosphate barvar-2, Phosphate barvar-2, and Azeto barvar-1 + Pota barvar-2 fertilizers, respectively. The results indicated that humic acid and biological fertilizers positively affected the increase in the studied traits. All in all, organic fertilizers of diverse sources would be advisable to develop a sustainable agricultural production system and to improve the nutritional quality, thus for phytochemical-rich vegetable production.
