چکیده
|
Travertine is calcium carbonate precipitated from spring water, groundwater and so on and is widely distributed in northwest Iran. In this study, we first determine the formation age and then reveal the origin and formation process of the Iranian travertine by a multi-proxy geochemical analysis to evaluate a potential of the travertine deposits for paleoclimatic and paleoenvironmental implications.
