چکیده In this paper, we study some properties of what is called the oscillaton, a spherically symmetric object made of a real time-dependent scalar field. Using an exponential scalar potential instead of a quadratic one discussed in previous works, as a new choice, we investigate the oscillaton properties with this potential. Solving the differential equation system resulting from the Einstein-Klein-Gordon equations reveals the importance of the oscillatons as candidates for dark matter. Meanwhile, a simplification called the stationary limit procedure is also carried out.
