In today’s world using technology and modern realia in different fields, especially in TEFL, has caused great changes. This study aims at showing the effects of applying information communication technologies on a 28-session course performance of Iranian learners. In doing so, thirty students were randomly selected in Afra & Mahdis English Learning Home in Marivan, holding placement test to randomize them into two groups. The experimental group was taught based on ICT-based syllabus while the control group was kept deprived of ICT-based syllabus. The study enjoys a quasi-experimental design. Comparing the pre-test and post-test results, the experimental group outperformed the control group according to the results analyzed by SPSS. To be exact, the study revealed a direct and positive relationship between applying ICT based syllabuses and better course performance of the experimental group. Not only the overall performance of the participants was observed, but also all separated language skills i.e. speaking, listening, reading, and writing besides two important language components, grammar and vocabulary went under observation. Moreover, the result showed a great advancement of the experimental group not only in just one skill, but in all others applying ICT based syllabuses. Among main outcomes and results of the present study, motivating teachers and educators in applying modern technologies is considered a very important outcome. Finally, to shed more light on the future studies, bunch of suggestions were provided beside discussing implication of the study.
