this research aims at diagnosing and prioritizing women’s problems in independent auditing profession from the viewpoint of IACPA members. As the first step of this research, studying already-done researches as well as interviewing a number of IACPA members, women’s problems in independent auditing profession have been diagnosed in three different dimensions: personal problems, problems related to colleagues and those related to the work atmosphere. Afterwards, using a five-level scale, the respondents ideas were collected. By the end, using non-parametric Fridman test, women’s problems in independent auditing profession were prioritized regarding the viewpoint of women and men, and all the respondents generally. The results of the research showed that women’s main problems in this profession are because of the work environment dimension. In addition, regarding all the criteria generally, woman’s problems in this profession are of their family responsibilities, excessive workload and excessive traveling, and factors such as unsatisfying salary, sexual harassment and low career opportunities won the least effect among women’s problems.
