چکیده A new, sensitive, simple preparation of modified electrode and specific assay method based on the oxidation of guanine (G), adenine (A), thymine (T), cytosine (C) nucleotides on the glassy carbon (GC) electrode modified with silicon carbide nanoparticle (SiC) over a wide pH range using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) was proposed for individual, simultaneous of binary and simultaneous of mixture of all four DNA nucleotides determination. Catalytic behavior of SiC firstly studied thus observed that the oxidation of nucleotides on the GC/SiC occurred at reduced overpotentials and sensitivity is very high then experimental conditions such as the thickness of layer of SiC, pulse amplitude, scan rate, supporting electrolyte composition and pH were optimized to obtain the best peak potential separation and higher currents on the GC/SiC electrode and then the biological pH (7.4) was selected for measurement. The interference of each nucleotide on the other nucleotides was studied and did not observe interference then calibration curve for individual, binary mixture and quartet mixture with detection limit in nanomolar range were obtained.
