zeolite is an important resource in agriculture due to its water and ammonium retention capacity and because it helps to reduce N losses. Furthermore, when zeolite was mixed with N, P and K compounds, zeolite enhances the action of such compounds as slow release fertilizers, both in horticultural and extensive crops. In order to study the effect of Iranian Natural Zeolite (clinoptilolite), bio and organic fertilizers on NPK content of German chamomile a Field experiment was carried out at the Tarbiat Modares University research field, Tehran, Iran during 2008-2009. The experimental design was as three factor factorial completely randomized block design having two levels of Iranian natural Zeolite (z1= 0 and z2=9 ton/ha) as first factor and three levels of vermicompost (0, 5 and 10 t/ha) as second factor and PGPR (not-inoculation and inoculation) as third factor, replicated thrice. The results indicate that zeolite have a significant effect on nitrogen and potassium content of herb (p=5%). The combination of zeolite and vermicompost had an increasing effect on the elements concentration measured but zeolite and vermicompost levels don’t have a significant interaction effect on measured characters. The significant interaction vermicompost and PGPR levels had been recorded in the case of Nitrogen content of German chamomile (p=5%). The highest dry flower yield was obtained from the interaction between zeolite, vermicompost and PGPR (P2Z2V3). Finally, regarding the results of this experiment and the significant effect of zeolite, application zeolite in combination with organic fertilizers could be decrease losses of elements and therefore increase plant growth and yield.
