The present book has been written and compiled with the intention of first satiating the burning desires of MA entrance applicants of TEFL to learn the most necessary and key concepts in language testing to be able to shoot a higher score in MA national entrance exam, and second providing the reader with a brief account of the essential ideas and notions in language testing. It is worth noting that, in order to have a full grasp of some of the topics broached within this book, some previous Language testing background is required. Admittedly, this book can not claim to be prefect. Compiling and collecting a variety of language testing issues and bringing them all within an abridged volume like the present one is by no means without pitfalls and inadequacies. That said, any comments or remarks regarding the present book would be best welcome.
