چکیده	This paper examines the history of traditional Kurdish settlement located in western Iran and the capital of Kurdistan province. It aims to go back into history to build a narrative text which makes clear the process of city formation and development through time. This will make sense of changes that have occured the socio-political movements and dynamics that have occurred and the socio-political movements abd dynamics that gave the city its particular character distinguishable from other cities.
