Students of every country are considered the main factors of development and the actual stimulators of constructive changes; therefore, the present study was conducted to investigate the relationship between spirituality and religious adherence with the desire to immigrate among the students of Mohaghegh Ardabili University. The conducted study made use of descriptive and correlational methods. The statistical population comprised all male and female students of Mohaghegh Ardabili University in the academic year 2021-2022. A body of 300 students was selected using the available sampling method and responded to the immigration tendency questionnaire of Jan Alizadeh et al. (2014), the spirituality questionnaire of Parsian and Doninig (2009), and the religious adherence questionnaire of Jan Zoregi (2009). In order to analyze the data, the study made use of Pearson's correlation test and simultaneous regression analysis through SPSS statistical software version 21. The results depicted that the tendency toward immigration in students has a negative and significant relationship with spirituality and religious adherence (P<0.05), where spirituality and religious adherence predict 62% of the variance of students' tendency to immigrate (P<0.01). Considering the role of spirituality and religious adherence in the desire to immigrate, this tendency toward immigration can be reduced by raising awareness and applying measures to empower students in these areas.
