چکیده
|
NACA’s classic equilibrium equations for simply supported cylindrically curved rectangular plates under pure shear are solved more accurately by numerical methods; and a series of numerical finite element eigenvalue analyses on perfect curved plates under pure shear are performed and the results are compared. Then nonlinear analyses are carried out to inspect the effects of curvature degree on the postbuckling load-displacement response of curved shear panels. It is observed that the increase in curvature raises the elastic buckling strength, but produces instable buckling and reduces the postbuckling reserve of curved shear panels.
