چکیده	This paper introduces a development of the mean inactivity time order to make stronger stochastic comparisons than the ordinary mean inactivity time order. We apply the new stochastic order to derive some results on Poisson shock models, parallel systems, extreme order statistics and provide some insightful inequalities in the context of a queueing system.
