چکیده This paper proposes a secondary voltage control for inverter-based microgrids (MGs) using event-triggered communications. In the proposed method, state equations of the MG are transferred into a multi-agent system with single integrator dynamics using the feedback linearization technique. Then, considering the allowable range of voltages, a leader-following tracking control is designed such that the voltages of all the distributed generations (DGs) converge to a reference voltage. This reference is generated by using a critical bus voltage controller which is only available in a few DGs. The controller is designed for both continuous and eventtriggered communications. The latter scheme, uses an eventtriggering mechanism under which, the system remains L2- stable and inter-event times are always positive. The effectiveness of the proposed controller is validated by numerical simulation for a test MG in the MATLAB/Simulink environment.
