چکیده	The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between corporate governance and stock returns in the stock market in the period from 2008 to 2013in Tehran Stock Exchange. The research method used in this study was the correlation method. The study population is all of the companies listed in the Tehran Stock Exchange including 620 companies.195 companies have been selected as the sample by the systematic elimination. The combined data and multiple regression models were used to test the hypotheses. Eviews and Excel were used to analyze the data. The results show that there is a significant relationship between the proportion of outside board members, the ownership of institutional investors, free float stocks, the type of ownership (private or government), being the main character and stock returns. While there is no significant relationship between the auditor and stock returns, itis concluded that there is a significant relationship between corporate governance and stock returns.
