The alkali-Silica Reaction (ASR) is a stochastic problem. The exact place of the Reaction is not definite; therefore, it is perplexing to anticipate. ASR is a time-dependent reaction that occurs in concrete between the highly alkaline cement paste and reaction silica. This reaction causes the inflammation of aggregates. Due to expansive pressure inside the material, concrete strength reduces and concrete spalls. Thus, ASR can cause critical structural problems especially in hydro structures such as dams. ASR frequently poses challenges in areas of science and engineering and dealing with this type of problem is really challengeable. Random methods of computation can be applied to solve stochastic complex systems. Monte Carlo methods are a class of computational algorithms that on repeated random sampling to compute their results. Because of their reliance on repeated computation of random or pseudo-random numbers, they are especially useful in studying systems with significant uncertainty in inputs such as ASR. In this paper, Monte Carlo method is used to find the risky Alkali-Silica zones causing cracks in dams. The contours of these zones in a typical dam body are investigated and the results are presented.
