Mathematical modeling study for extraction acorn oil using supercritical carbon dioxide was performed in this study. Mass transfer is based on local equilibrium between solvent and solid. The proposed model solved using numerical technique. The equilibrium constant between solid and solvent was determined by fitting the theoretical extraction rate with experimental data. In addition, this parameter (equilibrium constant) plotted as a function of pressure and temperature. Results indicate that equilibrium constant is an increase trend of temperature and a decrease trend of pressure. Finally, the experimental data, which measure the extraction yield at different pressure and extractor size, confirm the proposed model.
