چکیده	Simple nitrogen-containing heterocycles receive considerable attention in the literature, because of their biological properties and their role as pharmacophores of historical irnportance. accordingly, many strategies have been developed for the preparation of these systems. Enaminons are employed in several new preparations of pyrrole derivatives. For example, the conjugate addition of alkyl 3-am inocrotonates to (E)-1, 2 dibenzoylethylene results in the formation of polysubstituted pyrroles. As part of our current studies on the development of new routes to heterocyclic systems. we wish to report the reaction of cyclic enaminocarbonyls with dibenzoyleacetylene in 1:1 THF-H2O system. These reactions are compared with those carried out in CH2CI2.
