Background: Written resources are one of the most important cultural development tools and symbols. It has a mutual interaction with culture. In the other words culture can help to develop written heritage and written heritage can help culture to growth. Digital tools and internet have reduced accessibility limitation such as place, time for cultural heritage library users. But, there are still many limits which we should consider while we decide to use virtual space to provide digital cultural heritage. The question is "do Kurdish digital libraries predict and provide its requirements?" are their state good or not? Purpose: The aim of this article is to describe and analyze Kurdish digital libraries and show strength and limits. Finally author suggested a road map for future movement. Method: Website evaluation checklist was used for evaluating Kurdish digital libraries. Digital main components such as usability, audience, accessibility, navigation, content architecture, content representation, and comprehensive of collection was used to make the evaluation check list and a systematic search was used for finding Kurdish digital libraries. Findings: There are small numbers of Kurdish digital libraries. There are many level and diversity between them from scope and services. And most of these sites fail the check list half point score. Results: Most of Kurdish digital libraries are not digital library but they are digital collections. Cultural institutions should follow a deep long term plan to establish a large Kurdish digital library Implications: cultural institutions may consider the findings and suggestion to improve/ initiate Kurdish digital library according to important criteria. Originality/value: Kurdish digital libraries are not investigated before. Developing a discussion about this kind of library may help to grasp enough consideration to build a real Kurdish digital library.
