Abstract

Greenhouse experiments to evaluate seven colored sticky traps (yellow, blue, white, green, orange, red, and violet) for capturing Tuta absoluta were conducted. The results showed there were significant differences between all of the colored sticky in attraction moths. Concerning the results, the orange sticky traps had the maximum level of capture and the yellow, white and green sticky traps caught the fewest number of moths. In addition, sticky traps when placed beside the walls green house had maximum level of capture than when traps placed between rows of tomato plants.
