Abstract In this paper, we present a numerical method for solving the Fisher’s equation using the rational radial basis functions (RRBF). We approximate the spatial derivatives by RRBF method then we advance the resulting semi-discrete system in time with an explicit fourth-order Runge-Kutta method. Finally to confirm the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method we present a numerical example.
