Title Natural Disasters Evaluation of Landslide Hazard by Using Fuzzy Logic

Abstract Natural disasters like landslide affect millions of people all over the world and dame them yearly. The aim of this research landslide hazard evaluation in saqqez watershed by using information layers and effective factors in landslide hazard using GIS and fuzzy set theory. Distribution landslides map to prepare by using aerial photos and field study. Information layers such as: slope, aspect, evaluation, lithology, landuse, distance to road, distance to fault, distance to river and rainfall identified effective factors in landslide hazard and used for analysis risk. Fuzzification each one of effective factors using of IDRISI software terminated and after was assigned type and shape membership function. Models evaluation results were showed gamma fuzzy operator had best accuracy (0.8) in making landslide susceptibility map in saqqez watershed.
