Abstract
|
Waveguide Optical Microscopy is a new evanescent field fluorescence microscopy method which can be used to image cell substrate contacts and also solid thin films. This new microscope uses a waveguide evanescent field as an illumination source. Since the evanescent field decays exponentially from waveguide surface waveguide optical microscope has a high axial resolution.
