Several techniques have been reported for removal of dyes from aqueous solutions such as photocatalytic degradation[1], photodegradation [2], adsorption [3]. Among these methods, adsorption technique is one of the promising methods for dye removal from waters. In this study, copper (II) sulfide nanoparticles were synthesized by co-precipitation method and analyzed by EDAX, SEM and… techniques. These nanoparticles were used for removal of RhB organic dyes. Physical adsorption of dye over nanoparticles in different conditions of temperature, time and pH were investigated. The amount of removal was studied by UV-vis spectrophotometer. As shown in figure 1, pH=7 is the optimized pH for removal of RhB.
