New thermal decomposition method was reported for synthesis of metal sulfide nanoparticles as wide band gap semiconductors. These nanoparticles were obtained by one step method. Nanoparticles were characterized by spectrochemical methods. The particles sizewere measured in the range of 10-20 nm and 3-10 nm. Photoluminescence analysis were confirmed the nature of MS nanoparticle as wide band gap semiconductors with band gap about 3.00 eV.
