Abstract

Background: The present study aims to identify the relationship between organizational commitment and the learning organization based on DLOQ model. Materials and Methods: The population of the study consists of all employees of Sport and Youth organizations in Kurdistan province (N=130).Due to small size of the population, the total number method used for sampling (N=n). Measuring tools for the study include standard questionnaires of Dimensions of Learning Organization, Marsick and Watkins (1996) and organizational commitment, Meyer and Allen (1993). Reliability of these two questionnaires in a research was calculated as 0.87 and 0.84 respectively. The validity of the questionnaires is also confirmed by five professors .To analyze the data, descriptive and inferential statistics methods such as Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Pearson correlation coefficient and regression analysis were used . Results and Discussions: The obtained results of the study showed that there is a significant and positive relationship between organizational commitment and learning organization (P=0.001). Moreover; among the components of organization commitment, "emotional commitment" has the highest and "normative commitment" has the lowest predicting power for learning organization (P≤0.05). Conclusion: Finally according to results of the study some suggestions were made to officials of the ministry and managers of sport youth and youth organization in order to enhance employee commitment
