Electrospinning is the most often utilized process for the fabrication of nanofibers. Basically, a conventional electrospinning device consists of four principal components a high DC voltage power supply, a metallic capillary such as a syringe needle (spinneret) which is connected to a positive voltage, a pump which controls the output flow of a polymer solution and a collector (a metal plate) which is grounded or connected to a negative voltage. In this workshop , the principle of electrospinning was demonstrated experimentally and polymeric nanofibers was produced for audiences.
