In this paper, we introduce and analyze a new class of generalized normal operators , namely D-normal operators , for a bounded linear operator T on a Hilbert space H using the Drazin TD inverse of T: We give necessary and sufficient conditions for an operator to be D-normal. Finally, we study some basic properties of these operators.
