کشف یک سویه جدید مخمری در سطح جنس، جدا شده از خاک معادن طلا، تحت عنوان Rhodotorula sp. GM5، با پتانسیل سنتز نانوذرات نقره و اکسید روی. توالی ژنی سویه بومی مذکور با شماره دسترسی KF543865 در بانک اطلاعات ژنی NCBI قابل دسترسی می باشد.
