Introduction

Morahem Ashengroph received a B.Sc. degree in General Microbiology from the University of Isfahan, Iran in 2001, a M.Sc. degree in Environmental Microbiology (2005) under the supervision of Prof. Fereydoun Malekzadeh from the University of Tehran, Iran and a Ph.D. (2010) in Industrial Microbiology under the supervision of Prof. Iraj Nahvi from the Isfahan University, Iran. He was a visiting Ph.D. student (2011) at the University of Milan, Italy with Prof. Francesco Enzo Molinari. During these years his fields of interest have been Microbial and Enzymatic Bioconversions, Experimental Design and Process Optimization and Metabolic Engineering: Fundamental Aspects and Industrial Application. He began his independent career at the Industrial Microbiology section of the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Kurdistan.
