Teachers are considered as the backbone of an education system and the extent to which teachers are able to motivate their students and contribute to the education system depends largely on how motivated teachers themselves are; therefore, factors which motivate or demotivate teachers ought to be carefully investigated and their needs should be considered Such an understanding informs our policy makers, language teachers, and many others involved in the field to make judicious decisions about language learning curriculum in Iran.
