In this paper, we present a new technique for generating error equi-distributing meshes in two dimensional space. The method is based on transforming the physical domain into a rectangle and applying a new method, which is a generalization of tensor product methods and works for a rectangular domain. With the new meshing approach, we have achieved better accuracy in approximation using radial basis functions (RBFs). Furthermore improved accuracy in numerical results have been obtained for a class of linear and non-homogeneous PDEs solved by the dual reciprocity method (DRM).
