Variability of soil characteristics is one of the most important factors in spatial variations vegetation, thus knowledge of the distribution and variability of soil properties is essential for plants and achieving better management. In this study, three sites in the “Dehgalan” included grasslands exclosure (Ungrazing), grazed and dry land wheat was selected. In these sites soil, topography and climate were the same and only landuse was different. Samples in the study sites were collected from depths of 0 to 20 cm. Physical and chemical characteristics of soil included: pH, EC, bulk density, texture, organic carbon and phosphorus were studied. The analysis of variance and mean comparison (Duncan's test) were done on data. Results showed significant difference between organic carbon, phosphorus and EC at 5% level probability
