Active teaching is an interactive method of teaching through which students themselves are involved in the process of learning. In this approach, students are in the centre of learning in the class and the instructor is only a facilitator. This approach can be adopted by any discipline ranging from humanities to engineering. We have, here, adopted it for teaching of hydrology at the College of Natural Resources, University of Kurdistan during past 4 semesters. The results of its performing are presented.
