This study has been designed with the purpose of analyzing factors causing job-stress and the amount of stress prevalence in teachers. In this research 150 teachers were selected according to a multi stage cluster sampling. This study used a 66 questioning scale called TSS scale ( Kyriacou and Sutcliffe, 1978). Some correlational analyses and independent sample t-tests were used. Findings indicated that job-related stress of men and women do not differ significantly. No correlation was also observed between job- related stress and marital status, level of education. However, in the sub scales of socioeconomic difficulties and restricted time issues, there was a significant difference between single and married teachers on English language.
