Long-horned beetles (Cerambycidae) are one of the largest and most widely distributed families of Coleoptera. The family contains approximately seven subfamilies and more than 33000 species worldwide. During the study, the fauna of long-horned beetles (Cerambycidae) of different habitats (oak forest, rangeland and garden) was investigated in the west of Kurdistan province (Iran). The specimens were collected With different sampling methods, including sweeping nets, rearing, pitfall traps, light traps, bait traps, window traps, color traps and directly by hand during hot hours of the day. In total, 56 species in 24 genera of long-horned beetles were determined. Of these, 4 species: Phytoecia balcanica (Frivaldszky von Frivald, 1835), Ph. Wslti Sama, 1991, Purpuricenus caucasicola Danilevsky, 2015, Chlorophorus hrabovskyi Kratochvil, 1985 for the fauna of Iran and 16 species: Dorcadion laeve laeve Faldermann, 1837, Mallosia imperatrix Abeille de Perrin, 1885, Phytoecia (Pygoptosia) eugeniae (Ganglbauer, 1884), Phytoecia (Mimocoptosia) luteovittigera Pic, 1906, Phytoecia (Musaria) puncticollis puncticollis Faldermann, 1837, Phytoecia (Helladia) armeniaca Frivaldszky, 1878, Phytoecia caerulea bethseba Reiche & Saulcy, 1858, Oxylia argentata argentata (Ménétriés, 1832), Oberea (Amaurostoma) erythrocephala Schrank, 1776, Stictoleptura (Stictoleptura) cordigera Füssli, 1775, Calchaenesthes diversicollis Holzschuh, 1977, Certallum thoracicum (Sharp, 1880), Cerambyx cerdo acuminatus Motschulsky, 1853, Osphranteria coerulescens L. Redtenbacher, 1850, Purpuricenus apicalis Pic, 1905, Purpuricenus wachanrui Levrat, 1858 are reported for the first time for the fauna of Kurdistan province.
