In this research, a new continuous sample drop flow-based dispersive microextraction (CSDFD-ME) technique was successfully used as a sample preparation method for Pb and combined with graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS). Under optimum conditions, an enrichment factor of 93 was obtained for 4.0 mL of the water sample in 2.0 min. The linear range and limit of detection for cadmium were 0.1–6.0 and 0.03 μg L-1, respectively. The relative recoveries of lead in tap water, mineral water and Standard Reference Material for apple leaves (1515) are98,100 and 94%, respectively.
