This experiment was carried out in 2012 at the Research Farm of University of Kurdistan, Iran, to Evaluation of grain filling duration and rate of different chickpea genotypes in irrigated and dryland conditions. The experimental design was split plot based on randomized complete block design with three replications. The main plots were two different systems (irrigation and dryland) and subplots included 19 chickpea genotypes. The result of ANOVA showed that grain filling duration (GFD )and grain filling rate (GFR) were affected significantly by drought stress levels and genotypes (p< 0.01). Bivanij had a highest GFR in both conditions. ILC 8262 showed minimum GFR under irrigated condition. Results also showed that the GFD was longer in irrigated condition than that in dryland. Significant variation was observed for GFD among genotypes in both conditions.
