This experiment was conducted to study the effects of methionine and choilne additives on performance and digestibility of male broilers fed 20% common vetch seeds. 208 twenty one-day old male broilers (Ross 308) were equally assigned to 4 treatments with 4 replications (13 birds per replication) and experimental period was 21 to 49 days of age. Experimental diets were included basal diet based on Corn-SBM, a diet containing 20% common vetch seeds and two diets containing 20% common vetch seeds supplemented by methionine (7 g/ kg) or choilne (7 g/ kg). Ileal digestibility of dry matter, crude protein and organic matter was determined at 42 days of age. Results of this study demonstrated that chicks, performance were not significantly (P>0.05) affected by 20% common vetch seeds and choilne. Usage of 7 g/kg methionine had adverse effects on performance at the growth period (21-42 days of age). Nutrients digestibility were not significantly (P>0.05) affected by 20% common vetch seeds. Chicks fed diet supplemented by choilne or methionine additives significantly (P<0.05) had higher digestibility than those of chicks fed common etch seeds diet. It could be concluded that feeding of 20% common vetch seeds in grower and finisher diets are safe for broilers and although 20% common vetch seeds plus choilne had no effect on performance parameters, but this treatment improved nutrients ileal digestibility in chicks.
