Abstract

Abstract Climate change is one of the most severe issues the world is facing today, 2 and it has placed humanity in a challenging position. In addition to causing irre3 versible harm to natural and human systems, climate change raises sea levels and temperatures, expands droughts, increases food insecurity, causes rain oscillations, AQ1 4 5 and releases external contaminants into the environment. However, there are currently 6 no effective mitigation mechanisms to cope with the implications of this global 7 problem. In this context, this chapter aims to investigate and introduce the global 8 climate change mitigation viewpoints. According to research, the only realistic and 9 scientific strategy to mitigate this critical problem may be summarised as worldwide 10 efforts to cut greenhouse gas emissions as quickly as possible. It is recommended that 11 annual meetings be organised to examine the current situation, anticipate the future, 12 converge viewpoints, and encourage underdeveloped and emerging nations to cut 13 greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to climate change. The efficient use of energy, 14 clean and renewable fuels instead of fossil fuels, and carbon emissions reduction are 15 critical in lowering a country’s carbon emissions.
