Introduction
Dr. Salaam Ghaderi is an associate professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Kurdistan. He received the B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Kurdistan, Iran in 2003; the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial Engineering from the Iran University of Science & Technology in 2006 and 2012, respectively. He also went to the University of Newcastle, Australia, as internship at group of Operations research headed by Prof. Natashia Boland, for one year in 2011. Dr Ghaderi's research is in the theory and applications of supply chain models involving network design and facility location problems. The methodology he uses to study these problems includes hybrid heuristics, mixed-integer programming and so forth. The outputs of his research have been published in prestigious journals such as Energy, Transportation Research E, Network & Spatial Economics, Applied mathematical modeling, Mathematical and computer modeling.
