Thiazole-containing depsipeptides were produced easily in one step by a four-component Condensation Passerini tandem reaction of thiourea carboxylic acid derivatives, phenacyl bromides, ketones and isocyanides in 1-methyl-3-pentylimidazolium bromide as new solvent.
