The synthesis of aromatic N-sulfonyl imine derivatives, was carried out in the presence of a magnetic CuO@Fe3O4 nanocatalyst and imidazolium-based ionic liquids as a co-catalyst to increase the reaction yield. FTIR, AAS, EDAX, SEM, and VSM techniques were used to identify and confirm the structure of the CuO@Fe3O4 nanocatalyst. The structure of the ionic liquids and imines was identified, analyzed, and characterized using melting point and FT-IR, 1H-NMR, and 13C-NMR spectroscopy methods.
