Abstract
|
Present study is to obtain comprehensive results for describing seismic behaviors of existing 230/63KV power transformers and 230KV bushings involving different types of these facilities. The 3D finite element analysis modeling could make clear the effects on the response of other important components such as bushings. This study also analyzed interaction effects between transformers and bushings to investigate the cause of the difference of experimental and theoretical results. For this goal, the bushings are modeled both as an independent test piece and a total system attached to transformer body. The seismic amplifications of bushings are compared in both cases as a separated structure and in the transformer system. Other important topic in this study is preparing fragility function to evaluate the vulnerability of power facilities, which weren’t been done in the previous theoretical studies. In this study fragility functions for minor, moderate and severe damages have been proposed.
