Abstract

Nanostructured hollow carbon nanofibers (HCNF) are extensively used as electrode for supercapacitors because of their large surface areas and good conductivity. Among all the carbon materials, the core/shell carbon nanofibers (e.g., the high-capacity anode material in the core and the carbon in the shell) prepared by electrospinning, are relevant to solve reported problems with capacitors.
