In order to investigation effect of pollarding on physicochemical properties of soil, 3 regions in Baneh County were selected. These regions were consisting of Shouye, Buin and Yaqub abad. The study area was parts of pollarded forest areas in Kurdistan province. For pollarding, each forest area was divided among several local people. Then, each parcel (each part) was named as « Gala-jar of Mr. X ». Each Gala-jar was divided into 3 parts, each part called a « Shan », with approximately equal production amounts. In every 3-year intervals one of these Shans is pollarded. In Baneh County through existence of cemetery in part of forest, pollarding not performed it parts. This part in study area, were selected on title instance treatment. These treatments of pollarding performed by local people, to this reason we not hand in perform treatment In the research, inside of Shan, Six soil samples in 0-30 cm depth were obtained. Analyses of samples implement in soil laboratory. Analyzed parameters consist of, carbon, nitrogen and phosphorous. Pollarding process decrease amount of Carbon and Nitrogen however did not change Phosphorous of soil. Most concentration of phosphorus was measured in pollarded area of Shouye (29.87 ppm). Most concentration of nitrogen and carbon was measured in non-pollarded area of Shouye. In three areas, amount of soil carbon in non-pollarded treatment was more than pollarded treatment.
