Abstract

Objectives: The use of natural interventions as uncomplicated treatment solutions has attracted the attention of many doctors and patients today. This review analyzes the effects of different strategies of exercise training and curcumin consumption on the level of adipokines and adipocytes. Results: One of the important spices whose medicinal properties have been proven is turmeric, which is medically confirmed due to the presence of important polyphenols such as curcumin, which have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Due to its antiinflammatory properties, curcumin can help to improve the inflammation and muscle pain caused by exercise, thus leading to the improvement of health status in all populations. Due to their different characteristics, adipokines, and adipocytes released from fat tissue can play different roles in the body and lead to different physiological responses in the body, some of which can lead to disturbances in the normal function of the body. An increase in fat tissue leads to an increase in the level of pro-inflammatory adipokines and, as a result, a decrease in anti-inflammatory adipokines. Conclusion: Emphasizing the importance of lifestyle modifications, the review underscores the potential of curcumin and exercise as effective and accessible interventions for individuals grappling with metabolic syndrome, obesity, and diabetes. By addressing inflammation and promoting metabolic balance, these natural approaches offer promising avenues for therapeutic intervention
