Abstract Therefore, due to the increasing prevalence and increasing role of social media in the sports industry, distance education methods (where social media acts as a facilitator) have been pushed to play a more prominent role in the field of education. In this regard, the present study was conducted with the aim of designing a social media acceptance model in teaching practical courses in the field of physical education and sports sciences. The method of the present study was qualitative research and content analysis. The statistical population of the present study included experts in the field of media and communications. In this study, purposive sampling method was used to identify the samples. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 7 people. The results showed that in 6 different areas; Content development between professors and students, development of group cohesion and class community, content development by students: development of innovative methods, evaluation, communication with the professional world can be used in social media in different categories to teach sports courses Benefited from physical and sports sciences. Therefore, faculty and lecturers of physical education and sports sciences departments of domestic universities should consider several important points. 1. The faculties of physical education and sports sciences and their professors should be aware of the advances made in the sports industry and reflect these changes and work needs in what is taught in their courses to prepare students for professional and future careers. 2. Social media facilitates the acquisition of digital skills, which is why they are so welcomed by employers in the sports industry. 3. Social media provides numerous opportunities to teach practical physical education and sports science courses, facilitate networking and interaction between students and faculty, and sports industry stakeholders, and provide attractive and friendly tools for students and 4. At present, the educational experience of using social media in practical classes in physical education and sports science is limited. Therefore, it is necessary to invest in new educational experiences in order to share the results with the academic and educational community.
