. we have embarked upon a program aimed at developing catalysts that mimic perhalogenated metal Schiff base complexes for the investigation, as its ligand framework is similar to that of a porphyrin. Here we report that a novel Schiff base complexes are moderately selective catalysts for olefin epoxidation under mild conditions.
